TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR BANDS PLAYING OUR GIGS
Playing other gigs
Support bands should keep at least a 2 week gap between gigs in the same city or town to encourage as many of your fans to attend as possible.
Headline bands must keep at least a 4 week gap between gigs in the same city or town to encourage as many of your fans to attend as possible.
Promotion
It is expected that support bands promote gigs in the same way they would if they were headlining, after all, we all want a full room, right? Next time, you might be headlining, struggling to shift tickets and getting frustrated at the supports for not pulling their weight. It’s swings and roundabouts, we all need to do our bit to make it successful.
Guest Lists
Some of our gigs have a guest list, when they do, each band member is permitted one guest. It’s expected that this person is a spouse or dependent whose entry fee would ultimately come out of the band’s pocket creating a slight “pay to play” scenario. Guests will need to order a ticket using the code on the Advance and they must present it on the door.
Etiquette
Bands displaying poor etiquette such as not promoting, being rude or disrespectful to other bands and their members, any member of Metathetic Music or their representatives, venue staff and promoters or gig goers will not be offered further gigs or representation and may have payment or partial payment withheld.
Payment
Payment will be made via bank transfer upon receipt of an invoice post event. If a fee is to be paid on a ticket split basis, you must email us at hannah@metatheticmusic.co.uk to find out how much this is before sending an invoice reflecting this amount. If a guaranteed fee has been agreed, simply send the invoice for the agreed upon amount.
Invoices should be billed to: METATHETIC MUSIC, 19 Woodward Road, Spennymoor, Co. Durham, DL16 7US.
PLEASE USE THE CONTACT FORM OR EMAIL WILL@METATHETICMUSIC.CO.UK WITH AN EPK, BIO AND LINKS TO MUSIC AND SOCIALS IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO PLAY A GIG.
